My name is Jill Farley , I live in Wallan, Victoria - Australia..
I have had beagles for nearly 20 years and in this time have only had a few litters (only 5) some breeders have this many litters a year, but with work committments I just do not have time to have lots of litters.
My last litter was over 2 years ago, but I do have a lot of interest in the breed and show regularly. I am happy to show beagles with prefixes from other breeders as long as I am happy with the quality of the beagle on the end of the lead I do not mind if it is not a Delgaeb Beagle.
I am the President of the Beagle Club of Victoria, and have been for over 11 years. During this time I have also been show secretary, produced, edited and promoted three Australasian Pedigree References, made several fund raising calendars for the club, started up and attended all the BCOV hunt weekends, started and maintained the beagle club website, (www.beagleclubvictoria.com.au).
The crowning moment for me was being made a Life Member of the club after the 2003 National Beagle show, this was a wonderful thank you received from the club and an achievement I am extremely proud of. Our club does not hand out Life Membership's easily and I am one of the few recipeints.
As you can see Beagles play a big part of my life.
